Currently working on sketches of the historic Chapel of St. Anne d’Entremont near Falaise in Normandy. Built by the Countess Lesceline, the great aunt of William the Conquerer in the 11th Century just prior to the Norman invasion of Britain, it is coming up for its 1000 year anniversary and so I thought that a painting might be in order to celebrate the occasion.
