Chris Myers PRI RBA was born in London and studied at Maidstone College of Art. 
He is an award winning water colour artist, with classic cars, music and travel as particular passions for his subject matter.

Chris became a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in 2009 and the Royal Society of British Artists in 2006. He has exhibited widely but most often in London at the Mall Galleries and Gallery Different. He has won a number of awards for his work, including the Cityscape prize in the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition.

Chris was elected as President of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in April 2022, the seventeenth President since the Institute was founded, in 1831.

His paintings have been the subject of articles in ‘Octane’ and ‘Classic and Sports Car’ as well as in ‘The Artist’ and ‘Watercolor Artist’ in America. His is proud to be ‘Artist in Residence’ for Benjafield’s Racing Club.

Chris paints private commissions and carries out illustration work from his home studio in Frant, East Sussex, where he lives with his wife.
